Azerbaijani football club will sue former goalkeeper

Football club "Difai" from Agsu intends to sue its former goalkeeper Alexander Prikrostov.
As BAKU.WS was informed by the club, the reason was the footballer's statements on social media: he claimed that his leg was not functioning, that pus was found in his leg during surgery, and also that he was at risk of amputation. Prikrostov also reported that he did not receive any support from the club and demanded compensation.
However, as it turned out during the investigation, the real picture differs from the footballer's words. The club, according to available data, offered the player treatment in a clinic with which the team had a sponsorship agreement, but the athlete himself refused and insisted on being transferred to another hospital.
"Difai" emphasizes that the injury was not received during a match or training, but happened at home, in connection with which, according to the terms of the contract, the club is not obliged to provide financial assistance.
In addition, it became known that the footballer filed a complaint with the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), after which the club paid him compensation in the amount of 7,256.13 manats.
Despite this, Prikrostov, according to the club, continued to pressure and put forward new financial demands, threatening the team's management.
