Azerbaijan will host the III Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Games for the first time, with delegations from three more countries having arrived.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, a plane carrying the Tajik team of 60 people, Uzbek team of 15 people, and Belarusian team of 30 people landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Media representatives greeted the athletes at the airport.

It should be noted that the III CIS Games will be held from September 28 to October 8 in seven cities of Azerbaijan - Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, and Khankendi. The opening and closing ceremonies of the games will take place at the stadium in Ganja.
