Another Azerbaijani judoka won bronze at the European Championship

Another representative of Azerbaijan won a bronze medal at the European Judo Championship taking place in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.

Report informs that Rashid Mamadaliev (73 kg), who lost in the semifinal, defeated Daniel Szegedin (Hungary) in the match for third place.

This is the second medal won by Azerbaijani judokas at the tournament.

Yesterday, Ahmed Yusifov won bronze in the under 60 kg weight category.

Note that Azerbaijan is represented by 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) in 12 weight categories at the European Championship. The team is also represented in mixed team competitions.
