The teams "Karabakh" and German "Eintracht" (Frankfurt) played a match of the UEFA Champions League main stage using the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.

As reported by the head of the communications department of "Karabakh" Anar Hajiyev in response to Report's inquiry, there was a brief communication issue between the main referee and the VAR room at the beginning of the game, which was quickly resolved, after which the system worked in full mode.

The match ended with "Karabakh" winning 3:2, with Swiss Sandro Scherer serving as the main referee.
