The registration process for the U17 World Wrestling Championship, which will take place in Baku from July 27 to August 2, has been completed.

According to the final list of participants approved by United World Wrestling (UWW), 663 athletes, 272 coaches, and 64 international referees will take part in the prestigious tournament, which will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena. In total, more than 1,100 guests will visit our country in connection with the World Championship.

This World Championship will set a record for the highest number of participants in the last 13 years and the highest number of represented countries in the last 8 years.

Throughout the week, future stars will compete for victory in freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, and women's wrestling.

The Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan is carrying out all necessary preparatory work to organize the World Championship at the highest level.
