2026 World Cup: Netherlands thrashed Sweden and moved to the top of the group

The Netherlands national team secured a resounding victory over Sweden in the second round match of Group F at the FIFA World Cup.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the match in Houston ended with a score of 5:1.

On the winning side, Brian Brobbey (5, 17) and Cody Gakpo (47, 54) each scored braces. Crysencio Summerville added another goal in the 89th minute.

The sole goal for Sweden was scored by Anthony Elanga in the 59th minute.

Thanks to this victory, the Netherlands moved to the top of Group F with 4 points.
