2026 World Cup: Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Qatar and took 3rd place in the group

Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Qatar in a Matchday 3 group stage match of the FIFA World Cup and finished third in the group.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the match at Lumen Field stadium in Seattle, Washington, ended with a score of 3:1.

The Bosnian goals were scored by Kerim Alajbegović (29), Sultan Al-Brake (34 - own goal), and Ermin Mahmić (80), while Qatar's sole goal was scored by Hasan Al-Haydos (42).

Thanks to this victory, Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the group stage in third place with 4 points. Qatar, with 1 point to their name, was eliminated from the tournament.
