Traffic accident in Baku: pedestrian injured in collision with car

The Center for Intelligent Transport Management (CITM) addressed drivers.
As reported to BAKU.WS by CITM, the address states:
"One of the accidents recorded by cameras occurred in the Nasimi district, at the intersection of Azadlyg and Vagif avenues, and the other in the Narimanov district, at the intersection of Tabriz and Abdulazal Demirchizade streets. In both cases, traffic lights were damaged, and a pedestrian standing on the side of the road was injured.
Such accidents occur because some drivers operate vehicles at high speeds, ignore prohibitory traffic signals, do not follow rules at regulated and unregulated intersections, during maneuvering, and other rules. As a result of accidents, damage is caused to road infrastructure, and traffic lights fail.
We draw drivers' attention to the fact that such accidents are most often registered on central streets and avenues, on roads with heavy pedestrian traffic. Therefore, in order not to endanger their lives and the lives of others, they must follow the rules and be careful when entering intersections."
