Today in schools of Azerbaijan they celebrate the "Last Bell"

June 14 marks the "Last Bell" in Azerbaijan's schools.
According to the Ministry of Science and Education, 98,647 graduates are completing XI (XII) grades in the 2022/2023 academic year, of which 89,112 people studied in the Azerbaijani sector, and 8,824 people in the Russian sector. 4 graduates are completing the 11th grade of the complete secondary school in Aghali village of Zangilan district.
At the end of the current academic year, the number of students in general education institutions across the country is 1,707,242 people, including 90,648 children studying in preschool groups, whose educational process ended on May 31.
By the end of the academic year, there are 4,431 general education institutions operating in the country, 388 of which are located in Baku. Over the past calendar year, major renovation and construction works have been carried out in 30 general education institutions and 30 modular schools.
At the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, 150,289 people entered the first grade, and 90,026 people were enrolled in school preparatory groups.
It should be noted that the "Last Bell" event is organized in the yard of each general education institution, or in sports or assembly halls of general education institutions without a yard. Parent committees, parent-teacher associations, and public representatives can participate in the "Last Bell." The Baku City Education Department, regional education departments, and heads of general education institutions directly under the Ministry of Science and Education have been instructed to take necessary measures to ensure the safety of students during the "Last Bell."
