The Ministry of Emergency Situations saved 28 lives during the Eid al-Adha holidays

During the Gurban Bayram holiday weekend, Emergency Situations Ministry employees worked in an enhanced mode, successfully extinguishing 230 fires of various degrees of complexity.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, the rescuers' activities were not limited to firefighting only. Emergency Situations Ministry specialists promptly responded to 20 calls related to providing emergency assistance to people in helpless conditions, attended 2 traffic accidents, and successfully prevented 2 suicide attempts.

Thanks to the professionalism and coordinated actions of the Emergency Situations Ministry employees, they managed to save the lives of 28 people, including 8 minors. The fires were quickly contained and extinguished.

During the rescue operations, 2 people were evacuated from high-risk zones, 4 victims with various injuries were promptly delivered to medical facilities. The bodies of 4 deceased individuals were transferred to the appropriate services.

The ministry emphasized that in connection with the celebration of Gurban Bayram, the Emergency Situations Ministry was functioning in a special, enhanced mode.
