The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has warned the population about adverse weather conditions.

According to BAKU.WS, rain is expected in several regions in the coming days, with intense precipitation, hail, thunderstorms, and strong winds in some areas. Short-term mudflows are possible in mountainous regions.

The Ministry recommends citizens to stay away from light structures, billboards, and tall trees, as well as observe fire safety measures, as strong winds can contribute to the spread of fire.

In case of mudflow threats, it is necessary to avoid low-lying areas and, if needed, move to higher ground. During thunderstorms, electrical appliances should be disconnected, phones should not be used, and people should avoid being near metal structures.

Additionally, the risk of avalanches remains in mountainous areas, so it is recommended to avoid steep slopes and potentially dangerous zones.
