The Minister made a statement regarding the activities of plastic surgeons
The work of the Audit Commission, established in connection with the inspection of plastic surgeons' activities, will be completed in early April.
This was announced by the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teymur Musayev, answering journalists' questions at the XII Global Baku Forum "Rethinking the World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities," reports Oxu.Az.
The Minister noted that the commission has already held nine meetings.
"Meetings have been held with most of the specialists who submitted documents to the Audit Commission. Their documents have been verified. After the commission completes its work, the Ministry of Health will issue a statement regarding the results of the inspection," T. Musayev noted.
Recall that after the death of several female patients, there was a need for a comprehensive review of the legal basis of documents of specialist doctors working in the field of plastic surgery, authorizing them to engage in this activity. In this regard, on December 27, 2024, by the relevant order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a special Audit Commission was established, consisting of authorized representatives of the Ministry of Health, the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan
