Road police addressed drivers

The Main Department of the State Road Police (MD SRP) of Azerbaijan has addressed road users in connection with the expected adverse weather conditions.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the MD SRP, according to weather forecasts, from today until April 12, the weather in the country will sharply deteriorate, strong winds and precipitation are expected, and the air temperature will drop by 5-10 degrees compared to previous days.

In this regard, the road police asks road users to be careful on the roads in rainy and windy weather, to choose a speed mode in accordance with road and meteorological conditions, to maintain a sufficient distance and to monitor the technical condition of vehicles, and owners and drivers of trailers, awnings and long vehicles should pay attention to the packaging of the transported cargo.

The MD SRP also urges pedestrians to be more attentive in bad weather, to walk on the sidewalk without going onto the roadway, and to cross the road only at pedestrian crossings.
