One of the most problematic interchanges in Baku: traffic jams, chaos and impassable roads

A new episode of the Necə olmalıdır? segment has been released on Baku TV.

It discussed the problem concerning drivers in the area known as the "3rd microdistrict traffic interchange" of the capital.

The program reported that the traffic light installed at the exit from the roundabout towards Javadkhan Street causes serious congestion.

"The intensity of vehicle traffic towards Javadkhan Street in many cases paralyzes movement at the interchange," the segment states.

It is noted that at the "3rd microdistrict traffic interchange" - whether in the direction of Jeyhun Salimov, Asif Maharramov, or Javadkhan Streets - traffic jams are observed at any time of day.

Experts claim that the main cause of congestion is the excessive number of vehicles entering the roundabout. The capacity of the interchange does not match such a traffic load.
