Monitoring to identify locations for animal slaughter and sales for the Eid al-Adha holiday
The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA) continues preparatory work at animal slaughter and sale points in connection with the upcoming Gurban Bayram holiday (June 6-7).
As reported by the FSAA, during the Gurban Bayram holiday, as in previous years, animal slaughter and sale activities will be organized at predetermined locations in cooperation with relevant institutions.
Currently, the Agency is conducting monitoring at animal slaughter and sale points throughout the country. Based on the monitoring results, locations for animal slaughter and sale will be determined, and this information will be posted on the FSAA website (afsa.gov.az) in the coming days.
At these locations, buyers will be offered animals that have passed veterinary control, and animal slaughter will be carried out at points that meet veterinary and sanitary requirements.
