Man beats daughter to death in Baku: she was secretly using a phone

In the village of Zabrat in the Sabunchi district of Baku, a man beat his own daughter to death.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, Yelmar Atakishiev (born 1962), while in prison, learned that his daughter Jamalya Atakishieva was engaged in debauchery, and after his release from prison decided to kill her.

Some time after being released, the man began to follow his daughter. The first time he followed her to a dental office. Seeing Jamalya in revealing clothes, he beat her right in the doctor's office.

Later, Yelmar suspected that his daughter was using a second phone, but she did not admit it. So he started following his daughter again.

The last time, Jamalya said she wanted to go to Sumgayit to visit a friend. Her father said he would go with her, but the girl objected.

On this basis, an argument broke out between them at home and when Yelmar snatched the bag from his daughter's hands, a second phone fell out of it. Seeing it, the enraged man began to beat his daughter with particular cruelty.

As a result, the girl lost consciousness. The father left the house, ordering family members not to call an ambulance. Relatives, seeing blood flowing from Jamalya's mouth, called an ambulance. Upon examination, it was found that she was dead.

The Baku Court for Serious Crimes sentenced Y. Atakishiev to 16 years in prison.
