In Azerbaijan, a woman stabbed her husband and ran away with another man

In Shamkir district, a woman stabbed her husband of 16 years.

As reported by Baku.ws with reference to Baku TV, the incident was recorded in the village of Gasymalylar.

According to the information, conflicts often arose in the family, and during another argument, the woman stabbed her husband.

The victim, Namaz Jafarov, claims that the incident was caused by his wife's decision to leave home to open a bakery with another man. "I asked her not to leave, but she didn't listen. Because of this, we had an argument, and she stabbed me," the villager noted.

The victim's mother, Dilyara Jafarova, stated that she tried to dissuade her daughter-in-law from this step: "I told her parents that your daughter is doing wrong, you need to talk to her, but no one intervened. I only learned that she had wounded my son in the morning when the police called me. She took the money and ran away with another man without telling anyone."

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that employees of the Shamkir District Police Department detained the suspect and handed her over to investigative authorities. "Relevant expertise has been appointed regarding this fact, the investigation continues. Legal assessment will be given based on the expert conclusion and investigation results," the department emphasized.
