Husband attacked wife with a knife because she asked a neighbor for a loan

In the Baku Court for Serious Crimes, a verdict has been issued in a high-profile domestic violence case. Ruslan Aliyev, who attacked his own wife with a knife, has been sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the tragic incident occurred in the "Ulduz" camp, located in the Khazar district of Azerbaijan's capital. According to case materials, Aliyev's wife found herself in a difficult financial situation. After borrowing money and being unable to repay it on time, the woman was forced to seek help from a neighbor named Samir.

The situation escalated when the wife began regularly contacting the neighbor regarding the loan. Frequent conversations and correspondence between them aroused suspicions in Ruslan Aliyev, who warned his wife.

The culmination of the conflict came when the husband caught his wife during another conversation with Samir. In a fit of rage, Aliyev stabbed his wife twice.

A criminal case was opened regarding the attack, as a result of which Ruslan Aliyev was detained and subsequently convicted.
