Gyulsum Alieva is not registered as a doctor

Gulsam Aliyeva, known in social media as Gül Əliyeva, performed a liposuction operation at VMR Aesthetic Clinic in Ganja. During this procedure, patient Gulbeniz Bayramova died.

As Oxu.Az reports, in the response of the Center for Analytical Expertise (CAE) of the Ministry of Health to Unikal, it is noted that G.Aliyeva is not registered in the department's database as a doctor.

"Last year, employees of our institution conducted an unscheduled inspection at the specified aesthetic center. Based on its results, a protocol was drawn up under Article 210.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (engaging in private medical or pharmaceutical activities without a license). For such actions, fines are provided: for individuals - from 2,000 to 3,000 manats, for officials - from 5,000 to 10,000, for legal entities - from 20,000 to 30,000. The materials were transferred as intended for appropriate measures to be taken," the center explained.

It was also noted that the Baku branch of VMR Aesthetic Clinic had previously been inspected based on another citizen's complaint. As a result, a protocol was also drawn up under the same article and sent to the competent authorities.

"Currently, an investigation into the death is being conducted by investigative authorities," concluded the Center for Analytical Expertise.
