Baku TV released footage from the oldest Muslim temple in Azerbaijan - the Shamakhi Juma Mosque.
Note that it was built in 743. The Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of the oldest in the South Caucasus and the Middle East, was erected during the reign of Caliph Khalid ibn Walid in honor of the arrival of his brother Muslim ibn Walid to Azerbaijan.
