Chapter of Executive Power of Baku: During heavy rain, it is necessary to restrict vehicle entry into tunnels

In order to minimize danger during heavy rain, the head of the Executive Authority (EA) of Baku city, Eldar Azizov, proposed temporarily restricting vehicle entry into tunnels and underpasses beneath bridges as a temporary measure.

According to Oxu.Az, he stated that this step could to some extent reduce the threat to citizens' lives and property, especially in vulnerable parts of the transport infrastructure.

"The city is entering a new stage of its development, and one of the main components of this process is the modernization of the sewage system. In this regard, objectively speaking, we are not currently protected from the recurrence of such incidents," he said.
