ANAMA employee was blown up by a mine
A mine incident occurred on April 28 in the territory of Gyzylgajily village in Gazakh district.
This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).
According to the agency, while performing his official duties, Agency employee Pashayev Elnur Oruj oglu (born 1985) was injured when an anti-personnel mine exploded. As a result of the incident, he received minor injuries to various parts of his body.
The injured person was evacuated to the district central hospital. His condition is assessed as satisfactory.
It should be noted that the village of Gyzylgajily in Gazakh district was under Armenian occupation for many years and returned under Azerbaijan's control in May 2024. Currently, ANAMA is conducting demining operations in the village.
