ANAMA employee was blown up by a mine

An employee of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) was injured by a mine.

The incident occurred in the village of Mehdili in the Jabrayil district.

Agency employee Khankishiyev Heydar Ali oglu (born 1991) was injured by an anti-personnel mine while performing his official duties. As a result of the incident, he suffered a traumatic amputation of the right ankle joint.

The injured employee was taken to the district hospital, and his condition is assessed as satisfactory.
