Accidents, tariffs and medical examinations: what's wrong with taxis in Azerbaijan?

A new episode of the podcast Necə olmalıdır? ("How should it be?") was released on Baku TV, which discussed problems and shortcomings in the taxi sector in Azerbaijan.
A recent high-profile accident involving a taxi has once again drawn attention to this topic.
During the broadcast, the causes of the accident were examined, as well as the issue of the absence of cameras in taxis, problems with fares, the ban on using public transport lanes, and the lack of pre-trip medical examinations for taxi drivers.
These and other questions were answered by Orkhan Shikhiyev, head of the department for taxis and private vehicles at AYNA.
