A new Director General appointed to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan

Chief Director of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Zia Aliyev has been appointed as advisor to the chairman of the regulator.

This was reported by Baku.ws with reference to the CBA.

Vusal Gurbanov, who previously held the position of director of the Insurance Supervision Department at the CBA, has been appointed as Chief Director in his place.
