As reported by BAKU.WS, Jabir Gorkhmaz oglu Imanov was born on June 22, 1976, in Baku. From 1983 to 1993, he studied at school No. 189 in Baku.

From 1993 to 1997, he received education at the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute, and then graduated from the Faculty of Law at Baku State University.

Since 1992, he was a member of the KVN team "Guys from Baku," and later worked at the theater "Planet Guys from Baku."

Among his well-known films are works such as "Məhəllə" (Neighborhood), "Məşədi İbad-94," "Qorxma, mən səninləyəm! 1919" (Don't be afraid, I'm with you! 1919), "Bəxt üzüyü 2" (Lucky Ring 2).

In 2015, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist." In 2021, he was awarded the "Tereggi" medal.

From 1997 to 1998, he served in the Internal Troops. From 1999 to 2018, he worked in various positions at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He was a police colonel.

Jabir Imanov's father is Gorkhmaz Imanov, and his brother is the well-known actor Tahir Imanov.

The actor was married twice and had three children. His second marriage was to Zara Imanova. The couple often appeared together at events.

Today, Jabir Imanov fell ill during a workout. An electric shock was used to restore the actor's cardiac activity.

Despite the procedure lasting 20 minutes, it was not possible to save the life of the 49-year-old actor.
