Zakir Hasanov expressed condolences over the death of Mohammad Hussein Bageri

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, sent condolences regarding the death of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran (AFIRI), Lieutenant General Mohammad Hussein Bagheri.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the defense department of Azerbaijan, the message states:

"The news of the death of the Chief of the General Staff of the AFIRI, Lieutenant General Mohammad Hussein Bagheri, deeply saddened me.

Mohammad Bagheri, whom I knew personally and who always stood out for his professionalism and friendly attitude, will remain in memory with good recollections.

With deep sorrow, I express my condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased, wishing them patience.

May Allah have mercy on his soul!"
