Within the ART Weekend, the performance "Pistachio: Living Heritage" is presented

On October 31, another event took place at the Maksud Ibragimbekov Creativity Center - the presentation of the project "Fly to Baku. Art Weekend. Sense the Future NOW" "Pistachio: Living Heritage".

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAG, a mono-performance based on Maksud Ibragimbekov's story "The Pistachio Tree" was presented first.

At the center of the work, which transports the reader into a world of emotions, memories, and nostalgia, is a pistachio tree that has become a symbol of the unbreakable connection between past and present.

This story, one of Maksud Ibragimbekov's most impressive works, tells a story through a child's eyes. In this mono-performance, the role of an adult boy recalling his childhood during the war years was performed by Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Shovgi Huseynov.

The audience, together with him, was transported to a small Baku courtyard with a large pistachio tree growing in its center.

Then a triptych was presented - a work consisting of three carpets woven by "Azerkhalkha" OJSC.

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva examined the composition.

It was noted that the composition shows that life can begin anew and bear fruit despite difficulties. Water is presented as an important symbol connecting the three parts of the triptych. It emphasizes the cyclical nature of life as a symbol of the vitality necessary for growth and development.

Then, with Leyla Aliyeva's participation, a pistachio tree was planted on the Center's terrace.

It should be noted that this ceremony embodies the symbol of caring for water, life, and nature. The pistachio is described as a unity of past and future, art and ecology, human and earth.

Then the founder and head of the IDEA public association visited the Olive Festival organized in Icherisheher and got acquainted with olives and olive products brought from different regions of our country. During the visit, which took place in an atmosphere of sincere communication with guests and tourists of our city who came to the festival, memorable photos were also taken.
