The British publication The Economist presented its forecasts for 2026 on its traditional cover.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Haber Global, the special issue of the magazine The World Ahead warns of large-scale changes that await the world in the coming year.
According to the publication's forecasts, in 2026, the USA, China, and Russia may expand their spheres of influence, which is indicated as a possible "division of the world into three parts" between these states.
The publication emphasizes that one of the key themes of 2026 will be the midterm elections in the USA, which will coincide with the 250th anniversary of the country's founding. It is noted that Democrats will try to take control of Congress.
If we are to believe what is written in the magazine, next year tensions are also expected in relations between the USA and Europe.
