When religion is used to cover up reality: what drives those who side with Iran? - VIDEO
Some side with Iran, calling them "our Shia brothers." However, in their opinion, this does not mean that one should sacrifice the interests and realities of one's own state for their sake. Neither Allah nor religion demands this. Every person must first and foremost put their own people first and protect their own home.
This was stated by journalist Turan Ibrahimov on the program Aktual Gündəm, broadcast on Baku TV.
He sharply criticized drone attacks by Iran against Azerbaijan, as well as the manipulations being spread on social media.
According to him, Iran creates an entire army of trolls on social media to achieve its goals and spreads false information to a wide audience.
"With their provocations, they are trying to push the position of the Azerbaijani state into the background and sow doubt. Even political opponents understand what drives and motivates those who side with Iran in the current situation," he added.
