United Nations (UN) Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed familiarized herself with the activities of the ASAN xidmət center.

As reported by AZERTAC, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev provided the guest with detailed information about the various areas of activity of the structure he heads, including the ASAN xidmət centers established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, and projects implemented in the field of social innovations.

It was also noted that in 2015, the structure was awarded the UN Public Service Award, in 2019 – the UN Special Award for developing public services through the application of digital governance, and in 2023 it was recognized as the "Most Advanced Public Service in the World" within the framework of the Global Government Excellence Award and received a special award. It was emphasized that the ASAN xidmət model is being successfully applied in various countries.

The significance of the Contribution Agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Nations (UN) was particularly emphasized. The agreement provides for the introduction of innovations for the delivery of public services based on the ASAN xidmət model in UN member states and capacity development in the relevant field. Thus, the UN recognizes the ASAN xidmət concept, which has become Azerbaijan's brand on the international arena, as the best model and promotes it among the organization's member states.

During the meeting, the UN Deputy Secretary-General also familiarized herself with the activities of the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, the ASAN xidmət mobile service, and the public legal entity ABAD.
