Turkish media extensively cover Ilham Aliyev's participation in the meeting of Central Asian heads of state in Tashkent
The participation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States in Tashkent is in the focus of leading Turkish media outlets.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, media structures of the brotherly country in Sunday reports emphasized the Azerbaijani leader's speech to the meeting participants, including his words regarding the Zangezur Corridor project (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity, TRIPP).
The head of state's quotes about the significance of the agreements reached in Washington in August this year on connecting the main part of Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as about the timeline for implementing the construction of the Zangezur Corridor on the territory of our country, are cited.
With reference to President Ilham Aliyev's speech, it is noted that the railway with a capacity of 15 million tons will become an important artery of the Middle Corridor.
