The Azerbaijani people are a great people.
This was said by the President of the United States Donald Trump to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on August 8 in Washington after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) and the government of the United States of America (USA) on the establishment of a strategic working group to prepare a Charter of Strategic Partnership between AR and the USA.
"Even before our personal acquaintance, you spoke good words about me. Even before our victory in the elections," Trump noted.
