Today in Baku the WUF13 session concludes

Today, the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), taking place in Baku, concludes its work.

As reported by BAKU.WS, on the final day of WUF13, sessions will be held on such pressing topics as "Strategic Environmental Assessment as a Tool for Achieving Climate Goals," "Rural-Urban Linkages in the Context of Transformation and Resilience of Small Cities," as well as "Transitions in Practice: Co-creating Digital Tools for Informality and Crises."

In the afternoon, the official closing ceremony of the forum will take place.

At 17:30, WUF13 will conclude with a ceremonial flag-lowering ceremony.

It should be recalled that more than 40,000 participants from 182 countries registered for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

The forum started on May 17 and concludes today, May 22.

It should be noted that WUF13 is being held within the framework of Azerbaijan's close cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and is aimed at international exchange of experience in the fields of sustainable urban development, "smart cities," and innovative urban solutions.
