Three figures in science and culture have been awarded the State Prize in Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the awarding of State Prizes of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of science and culture for 2026.

According to the decree, the State Prizes of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of science and culture for 2026 will be awarded to the following individuals:

in the field of science:

Asef Haji oglu Hajiyev - for the book "Multidimensional Regression Analysis and Artificial Intelligence";

Tarikh Meyrut oglu Dostiyev - for fundamental scientific results obtained on the basis of archaeological excavations conducted at the medieval settlement sites of Ganja and Shamkir;

in the field of culture:

Eldar Idayat oglu Mikailzade - for the cycles "Azerbaijani Carpet - Dance of Loops", "Khamsa" and the triptych "Heavenly Religions".
