The Turkmen press widely covered Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's visit to Azerbaijan

The visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Azerbaijan and his familiarization with the construction work being carried out in the liberated Karabakh region during the trip was widely covered in the press of this country.

It was noted that the peoples of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have a common history, religion, culture, and national-spiritual values. These factors determine the unity of the two peoples and long-term cooperation between the states.

It was emphasized that the friendly relations between the leaders of both states contribute to the development of relations. The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov are outstanding political and state figures, both leaders are developing their countries, establishing broad cooperative ties for the benefit of their peoples.

It was noted that Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan continue cooperation in the fields of transport, transit, trade and energy and will further strengthen their relations.
