The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) continues its work in Baku.

As reported by BAKU.WS, approximately 162 events are scheduled throughout the day, covering a wide range of pressing urban development topics.

On the third day of WUF13, sessions will be held on such key topics as "Towards a Green, Resilient and Inclusive Recovery: Mainstreaming Sustainable Cities in Azerbaijan," "Accelerating Affordable Housing through Partnerships, Policy Innovation and Financing," "Rethinking the 'Good City' in the Context of Forced Displacement: Housing, Livelihoods and Well-being in Urban Crisis Settings - A Study," as well as "Urban Planning is Climate Action: C40 and UN-Habitat Accelerator."

It should be noted that more than 40,000 participants from 182 countries worldwide have registered for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

The forum launched on May 17 and will run through May 22.

The event is being held as part of Azerbaijan's close cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and is aimed at international exchange of experience in the fields of sustainable urban development, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
