The President received his new plenipotentiary representative in Nakhchivan and appointed heads of executive authorities for several districts

On November 12, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) Ilham Aliyev received Jeyhun Jalilov in connection with his appointment as the plenipotentiary representative of the President of AR in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), Elkhan Ibrahimov - as the head of the Executive Authority (EA) of Narimanov district of Baku city, Natig Agayev - as the head of EA of Balakan district, Orkhan Mursalov - as the head of EA of Goychay district, Elvin Pashayev - as the head of EA of Gakh district, Vugar Novruzov - as the head of EA of Goygol district, Elshan Hasanli - as the head of EA of Kurdamir district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, speaking at the meeting, President Ilham Aliyev said:

- You are being appointed to leadership positions in various regions of our country. You have been given great trust, and I am confident that you will justify it, and through your work and effort, you will do everything to fulfill the tasks before you.

Of course, great responsibility requires great work. First of all, you must carry out all my instructions. The instructions I give with each appointment of people to leadership positions in the regions should become their main working principles - first and foremost, to serve the people, to be with the people. Every person working in a leadership position, every official should be modest. In life, in everyday affairs, they themselves and their close relatives should behave in such a way that there are no complaints regarding our common cause. Unfortunately, in some cases, officials behave inappropriately in society, show excessive arrogance, try to put themselves above everyone else, thereby losing their own authority and simultaneously discrediting our state and its policy. Along with this, in some cases, they engage in corruption, bribery. The Azerbaijani public knows well that any government official engaged in unseemly affairs will eventually have to answer before the court, the law, and such cases, unfortunately, exist today as well. However, it is absolutely clear to society that no illegal action will remain without consequences. Therefore, my requirement of you is to simultaneously wage a serious fight against unsightly phenomena, to select reliable, professional, and morally clean personnel in your staffing policy, to prove the correctness of my choice through your work in the regions you will lead. Otherwise, of course, necessary measures will be taken.

The main infrastructure projects in our regions are practically completed. In recent years, a major turn for the better has been provided through state channels, through state investment programs. The implementation of several regional development programs has been successfully completed. It can be said that the situation with electricity supply, which is the main infrastructure direction, has been completely normalized in all regions. Of course, there are still issues of upgrading and repairing outdated infrastructure. However, this problem is no longer acute. The creation of electrical infrastructure in all our regions, including in the territories liberated from occupation, has created powerful potential.

The main roads fully comply with modern standards. Intercity roads have been repaired. Necessary funds are allocated annually for the construction of rural roads. I
