The President of Azerbaijan signed an order on conscription for compulsory military service

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on conscription of citizens for compulsory military service and discharge of conscripts to the reserve during the period from October 1 to 30, 2025.
As reported by BAKU.WS, according to the order, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan born in 2007 and who have reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription (inclusive), as well as those born in 1995-2006, who have not reached the age of 30, who have not completed compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who do not have the right to deferment from conscription or who are not exempt from conscription for compulsory military service, will be called up for compulsory military service during the period from October 1 to 30, 2025.
Conscripts who have completed the term of service provided for in Article 38.1.1 of the law "On Military Duty and Military Service" will be discharged to the reserve during the period from October 1 to 30, 2025.
The Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to take measures provided for by legislation to implement this order.
