The President of Azerbaijan congratulated the Emir of Qatar

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:

"Your Highness,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and through you to your brotherly people my most sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of the State of Qatar.

We are pleased with the level of Azerbaijan-Qatar relations based on common religious and cultural values, brotherhood and Islamic solidarity.

I am confident that we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations built on mutual trust and support, and to fully utilize the potential of our mutually beneficial cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral dimensions.
