The premiere of the film "44" took place: Arzu Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva attended the event

On October 12, the Heydar Aliyev Center hosted the premiere of the feature film "44," dedicated to the heroism of the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva attended the film's presentation ceremony.

Before the presentation, a minute of silence was observed to honor the blessed memory of the martyrs.

The guests then listened to the soundtrack of the film "44" performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater and the Azerbaijan State Choral Cappella. The impressive atmosphere created by the music was accompanied by documentary footage on the screen reflecting the path of the Azerbaijani people to Victory. The footage included video materials from the period of the struggle for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, the policies of national leader Heydar Aliyev aimed at liberating Azerbaijani lands, and the continuation of these policies by President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

After the screening of a video reflecting statistical data on the filming process of the feature film "44," the film itself was shown.

The film is a drama about heroism and love seen through the eyes of a cadet. The events depicted in the work embody the spirit, will, and selflessness of a generation that rose to defend the Motherland, using the example of special forces soldiers. At the center of the plot are Special Forces officer Rashad Khalilov, Turkish orthopedic doctor Zeynab Ozdemir working in Azerbaijan, and special operations group commander Colonel Ramazan Karimov. Alongside the storyline of love and personal trials, intense military operations unfold in the film. "44" is not just a war film. This cinematic work is the story of the Azerbaijani people, whose heart beats with love for the Motherland, who never lost hope and selflessly fought to the end for the freedom of their lands.

The feature film "44," created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the Film Agency, and Baku Media Center, is one of the largest cinematographic projects in the country in recent years in terms of production scale, number of specialists involved, filming geography, volume of technical resources used, and level of international collaboration.
