The next meeting of the Economic Council was held

A meeting of the Economic Council was held, dedicated to budget and economic forecasts for 2027.

As reported by BAKU.WS, at the meeting chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, the current economic situation and updated macroeconomic forecasts for 2026-2030, draft projections of the state and consolidated budgets for 2027, consolidated budget indicators for the subsequent three years, main goals and guidelines of budget policy for 2027-2030, the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework Program, the current situation and policy directions in the financial and banking sector, as well as other issues were discussed in detail.

At the meeting, reports were heard from Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov, Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev, and Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov. Members of the Economic Council and individuals invited to the meeting discussed the issues on the presented agenda.

Following the meeting, relevant structures were instructed to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan all documents and materials included in the 2027 budget package, taking into account the opinions and proposals of the Economic Council members.
