In accordance with the instructions of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the process of the "Great Return" to the territories liberated from occupation continues.

As reported by BAKU.WS, families who previously temporarily resided in various regions of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings, are being resettled in the settlement of Kyarkijahan in the city of Khankendi, as well as in the villages of Badara, Khanyurdu, Khanabad, Ballyja, and Tezebina of the Khojaly district, and the villages of Kolatag, Hasanriz, Ashaghy Oratag, and Chapar of the Agdere district.

At this stage, 8 families — 36 people — have resettled in the settlement of Kyarkijahan in the city of Khankendi, 5 families (13 people) in the village of Badara in the Khojaly district, 4 families (10 people) in Khanyurdu, 8 families (31 people) in Khanabad, 3 families (8 people) in Ballyja, 14 families (71 people) in Tezebina, 12 families (36 people) in Kolatag of the Agdere district, 6 families (30 people) in Hasanriz, 12 families (49 people) in Ashaghy Oratag, and 15 families (51 people) in Chapar.

The residents who returned to their native land expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care.

They also thanked the valiant Azerbaijani army, the heroic servicemen and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and wished peace to the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives on this path.
