Flights of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC to Nakhchivan will be operated through the Turkish city of Iğdır. After arriving in Iğdır, passengers will be transported to Nakhchivan by buses.

It is also noted that special security measures have been strengthened around Nakhchivan International Airport. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and law enforcement agencies continue to work on the premises.
