The King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim congratulated President Ilham Aliyev

King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Your Excellency.

I convey to Your Excellency and the esteemed people of Azerbaijan my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the remarkable holiday - the 108th anniversary of the independence of Your country.

This year marks 33 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Azerbaijan. I am pleased with the development of our bilateral relations and am confident that this spirit of cooperation will always contribute to the well-being of our peoples. Malaysia once again reaffirms its commitment to further strengthening and developing our bilateral relations.

Your Excellency, please accept my wishes to You for good health and well-being, and to the citizens of Azerbaijan - for peace and prosperity".
