The Heydar Aliyev Foundation commissioned the Lankaran orphanage after major reconstruction
Children's Home No. 5 named after Osman Mirzoev in the city of Lankaran, located in a social services institution building, has been completely renovated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The opening of the children's home after renovation took place on November 21.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to AZERTAG, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva attended the event.
It was noted that the building of the social services institution of Children's Home No. 5, which has been operating in Lankaran since 1941, had fallen into disrepair. In 2024, major renovation work began on the building of the social services institution of Children's Home No. 5 in Lankaran.
The building consists of 5 blocks with 1 and 2 floors. The social services institution is designed for 120 children of younger and older ages. The building has classrooms, computer science rooms, sewing and carpet weaving rooms, dance and music rooms, and a workshop. The social services institution is equipped with necessary furniture and equipment, and the subject classrooms have visual aids.
Rest rooms, a medical office, a cloakroom, a library, a reading room, a canteen, an assembly hall, a gym, and an outdoor sports ground have been created here. A children's playground equipped with play attractions has also been built.
Landscaping and greening work has been carried out on the household territory of the social services institution.
