"The Great Return": Residents of Khojavend and Shusha are returning to their native land
In accordance with the instructions of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the process of the "Great Return" to the territories liberated from occupation continues.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the residents relocating to the villages of Guzeykhyrman and Guneykhyrman in the Khojavend district, as well as Kichik Galadara in the Shusha district, had previously been temporarily residing in various regions of the country, predominantly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
In the first phase, 18 families — 82 people — were relocated to the village of Guzeykhyrman, and 21 families — 103 people — to Guneykhyrman.
In the first phase, 11 families — 39 people — relocated to the village of Kichik Galadara.
The residents who returned to their native land expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state support.
They also thanked the valiant Azerbaijani Army, the heroic servicemen and officers who liberated the territories from occupation, and honored the memory of those who fell during the hostilities.
