Leading television channels and information portals of Georgia extensively covered the state visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the country.

As reported by AZERTAC, the local press particularly noted that the state flags of Azerbaijan were displayed on the central streets and avenues of Tbilisi in honor of the distinguished guest.

The outlet 1tv.ge writes that this visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will give a new impetus to ties between the two brotherly countries. "The issues being discussed today once again demonstrate that Georgia and Azerbaijan, as always, stand together," the website notes.

At the same time, in a series of articles published with reference to the speech of the head of our state, special attention was given to the achievement of significant successes in the economic sphere. Focusing on the statements made by President Ilham Aliyev during the press statement, it was noted that by the end of the year the volume of trade turnover between the two countries may exceed one billion.

It is reported that Azerbaijan and Georgia support the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and inviolability of each other's borders in all international organizations.
