The Foreign Ministers of Canada and Azerbaijan, Anita Anand and Jeyhun Bayramov, discussed the development of bilateral relations as well as the situation in the South Caucasus during a phone conversation.
This was reported by the Canadian Foreign Minister on her account on the social media platform X.
According to her, the parties discussed strengthening Canadian-Azerbaijani relations and expanding cooperation in the areas of trade and investment.
The processes in the South Caucasus were also addressed during the conversation, and the importance of achieving sustainable and long-term peace, including the resolution of remaining unresolved issues, was emphasized.
