The first meeting of religious structures of the Turkic world countries will be held in Shusha
On June 30, the first meeting of heads of state bodies for religious affairs of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Shusha.
According to the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan, the Secretary General of the OTS, as well as heads of authorized state bodies in the religious sphere from the member countries (Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan) are expected to participate in the event.
Within the framework of the meeting, aimed at expanding joint activities among Turkic states sharing a common history, national-moral, religious, and cultural values, as well as developing the exchange of experience and strengthening partnership ties, a number of pressing issues are planned to be discussed.
One of the key topics will be the establishment of a cooperation mechanism among state bodies for religious affairs within the OTS framework. This initiative is aimed at strengthening coordination among the member countries, as well as creating a working platform for interaction.
Following the meeting, the signing of a communiqué reflecting the agreements reached is expected.
